I've use SQL server since version 7. 2005 takes up alot of resources, but once it's running, it's lighning fast compared to previous versions.

That's good to know. Most of my experience with databases is with mySQL. That's mainly because all of my web hosting uses LAMP (Linux, Apache, mySQL, PHP).
