Photoshop br far is the best tool, hands down!
It takes quite awhile to learn, and you need to have patience. But once you know your way around, there's nothing you can't do with Photoshop!
CS3 is amazing!

I agree. I use Photoshop and Dreamweaver for a lot of my websites and design stuff.
I'm trying to get used to The GIMP but it's just not as intuitive as Photoshop.

Nah, I looked at GIMP for awhile, but went back to Photoshop. I'm glad they got rid of ImageReady, that was a terrible software!
Version cue is cool, but it is a hog on resources and takes a long time to load up, so I uninstalled it.
The most disappointing thing is that they got rid of the Adobe Stock Photos. Man that was handy. Now I have to figure out where to get stock photos for free!

I'm still running CS2 on my machine so I've got ImageReady there but I never use it. I just stick with Photoshop.
I'm not a huge graphics designer or anything so CS2 works for now. I have CS3 running on my Vista laptop because there are bugs in CS2 that causes problems.

Yep, the only real reson to move to CS3 is so it works with vista. There's not alot of differences between CS2 & CS3.

yeah there isn't a whole lot different. CS3 has had the interface prettied up a tiny bit but it's not worth upgrading from CS2 just for that.

I used CS3 for a while, but decided to switch back to CS2 because its what I learned photoshop on, and because I wanted imageready. I only use it to make animated GIFs (Imageready, that is).

I've tried the new 3D features and it's cool. But, takes some time to get used to.
I use Animation Shop for Animated gif's. Works alot better and easier than ImageReady.
