There are tons of Linux distributions out there. Which one do you use? If you choose "other" feel free to post the name of the distro in the thread.

I'm going to have to say Ubuntu, because it's the only one that I've ever used.

I've tried a whole bunch of them over the years but I have always gone back to Ubuntu. I also like SuSE Linux Enterprise because I've taken some courses on it right from Novell so I am quite familiar with it.

I've used debian for as long as I remember.  I think TheNerd may have even been the one to turn me onto it.  Ubuntu is a good one too, but I'd only use it on a desktop machine.  Command Line FTW!

Yeah I think that was back in the day of nerdsonline.tk and the beginnings of LEF Clan or something.

I like Ubuntu Desktop Edition as when its installed (around 20 minuets) every thing you need is ready you can be on line in seconds also if you don't want to install it just run as live disk, what could be easier !

Yes that is exactly what I like about it as well. Once you have it installed you can start using it straight away with the standard apps that are installed.

I just downloaded openSuSE 11 and I am going to give that one a try shortly too.

I would be very interested to hear your opinion on openSuSE 11  Smiley

Well I installed OpenSUSE 11 yesterday. The install process was really simple and fast. I am very impressed with that. I haven't had the chance to use it much yet but I will post more info when I do.
