Cold Fusion is still the fastest web development language out there. I also use .net, and what I can do in Cold Fusion I can do 4 times faster than .net.

If you need to use Windows OS integrated features and controls, then .net is the way to go. But, CF has been around longer, and is a much easier to learn language, and faster to develop with.
