Sounds like a weird problem you have. I am thinking it might be a faulty docking station causing it. I have no idea why but you might want to get them to replace that. I don't think it would be caused by the monitors/tvs you use for display (but I could be wrong).
If the laptop has a monitor plug directly on it you might want to try plugging each one in there separately and see if one of them causes the problem. You could also try running it on the dock with and without the monitors just to rule them in or out.
Basically I would just suggest trying any combination of hardware configuration you can to rule each component out as you go.
